KCFC Holds Special Christmas Celebration at Volta Regional Hospital
The Kikis Court Fun Club [KCFC] organized a special Christmas celebration at the Volta Regional Hospital in Hohoe to share joy, hope and festive cheer with children and other patients on admission.
The event formed part of the club’s social intervention and community outreach activities aimed at supporting vulnerable groups during the Christmas season.
During the visit, club members spent quality time with the children, presenting them with gifts and offering words of encouragement to brighten their Christmas and ease their stay at the hospital. The initiative created a warm, memorable atmosphere that reflected the true spirit of Christmas - love, compassion and generosity.
Speaking at the event, the President of the KCFC Hohoe Sector reaffirmed the Club's commitment to giving back to society and supporting healthcare institutions through meaningful and impactful initiatives. Hospital staff and guardians expressed their appreciation for the thoughtful gesture, noting that such acts of kindness positively influence patients' emotional well-being, especially children's.
The outreach was not limited to the children’s wards alone. Food, water and drinks were also shared with patients on admission across other wards in the hospital, extending the Christmas goodwill to a wider section of the facility.
The KCFC continues to demonstrate its dedication to community service by putting smiles on faces and making a positive difference, particularly during special seasons such as Christmas.
